Reunion

Another beautiful morning and we were moving on from Bickington to Newton Ferrers today.

The first port of call was Kingsbridge where we managed to park overlooking the harbour ...

Luckily the tide was in and it was a lovely sight ...

After a coffee we went for a walk ...

We then moved on to Bigbury on Sea and once again we found a fantastic place to park with Burgh Island as a backdrop ...

We took Hamish for a walk and although half of the beach was dog-friendly we avoided it as it was quite crowded and just made our way around it ...

We then found the overspill car park and so moved the RV up there ...

This was the view from the back window ...

Our final destination today was a site which is owned by someone who Mike used to teach! We have only just recently got in touch with him and when we said we would be passing nearby it seemed crazy not to stop and meet up. He owns Briar Hill Farm, Newton Ferrers ...

It looks very sloping but there are some flattish bits - honest! In the evening we went for a meal at The Dolphin ...

and another 'old boy' joined us ...

He and his wife had brought along an old school photo which caused many laughs and stories. It was a great evening.
