Another hot day was forecast so we were up and about early to get on the road as soon as possible. Before we left we took Hamish for a walk and this time we went the other way along the towpath. The first boat we saw was the Downton Castle which we’d seen on the move last night …
and then we had a flock of five geese flying towards us and landing on the water …
We walked down to Bridge 150 …
and then turned back – spotting the geese on the water …
and our RV parked on the site …
The boys had told us that there would be roadworks on the M25 but we decided to chance it rather than going across country and as it happened we got through them with no trouble at all. After a stop for lunch once we’d left the A1(M) we made good time and arrived at the Norwich Camping and Caravanning Club Site at 3pm. We were given our pitch which is to be home for ten days and it was rest time for us all. The forecast for tomorrow is for cooler weather and I can’t say I’m disappointed. All this sun is just too much!
