All Clear - Hooray!
I went to Fracture Clinic today and was officially discharged! The doctor seemed very pleased with my arm and said I had got very good movement back in it. It's still a bit sore but it looks as if I'm well on the way to full recovery. Must keep doing the exercises!!!

X-Ray
I went to Fracture Clinic this morning and had my arm checked by the doctor who says it will take about 6 weeks before it's back to normal. In the meantime I keep it in the sling and I have to go to our local hospital, Barncoose, for physio. I took a photo of the x-ray on my phone as a memento! The arrow is pointing at the bit that's fractured.Monday, 31 March 2008
It's Broke!
Well I've had the x-rays and been told that it is definitely fractured where they thought yesterday so it's off to Treliske Hospital at Truro for me tomorrow morning to see somone in the Fracture Clinic. I'm getting quite good at doing things with my left hand but I can't wait to get back to normal and this is only the second day!

Ouch!
Am writing this with my left hand as late yesterday afternoon I took a tumble, tripping on a man-hole cover and I've done a bit of damage to my right arm.
My friend Jo and my husband talked me into going to minor injuries at the local hospital this morning and a very nice lady who checked me over thinks that I've fractured the radial head of my arm. I have to go back tomorrow morning for an x-ray which will hopefully show exactly what has happened.
No wine for me tonight as I'm on painkillers :-(
