First Swim of the Year

After the relentless rain of yesterday it was good to wake to a dry day even if it was a bit overcast. We had to go to Treliske as Mike had an appointment in Dermatology where we're hoping that they can finally sort out his on-going skin problem. We had arranged to meet the boys in Truro and after a coffee in Tesco we came on home and they went shopping. Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen was also in Truro today as they spotted him on Lemon Quay! The afternoon was completely different from earlier - the sun shone so the wetsuits were brought down from the attic and the boys braved the sea. It was freezing!


Apparently once you're numb you can't feel the cold!

The evening walk on the beach was really lovely - Ozzie went rock-pooling ...

and we all enjoyed the beautiful sunset ...
