Christmas Eve

We spent a very lazy afternoon watching 'South Pacific' on the television and singing along to all the familiar songs. If there's one thing you can guarantee at Christmas-time the programming will be full of old films!

We'd arranged to spend the evening at Jo and Paul's and she'd cooked a lovely spaghetti bolognese and we took a toffee pavlova for dessert. It was then time to watch Victoria Wood and she was brilliant. Her Show ended with her classic song which she'd brought up-to-date with a few changes but she'd kept my favourite line at the end where she beats you on the bottom with a Womans Weekly! Hamish had come with us and both boys had settled down with Jo ...
