Christmas Day

After several days of Hamish sniffing his stocking and knowing that there was something interesting for him waiting there we finally allowed him to rip open his presents ...

He had several soft toys and a bag of goodies to eat but it was one particular toy - a bear - which took his fancy. It was carried round to Grandma's to show her and then constantly attacked until it squeaked no more! Poor little bear has lost his voice but is still loved and woe betide anyone who tries to pick it up!

The weather was glorious today and so when Jo and Paul came over late morning we took the boys to the beach for a Christmas Day romp. They both had a bit of tinsel on ...

There were a few people down there and one family attracted us as they had a little 15-week old miniature Schnauzer called Milo ...

Both boys wanted to say hello to him although Fred wasn't keen to wade through the water to get to him ...

The sea looked fabulous ...

After lunch we settled down to watch another of my all time favourite films - 'White Christmas'
