Tehidy Country Park

As it was such a lovely afternoon we decided to take Hamish to Tehidy Country Park so he could have a run and we could see the bluebells. We chose the North Cliffs walk ...

and after parking up we set off on the pink route ...

It was a picture ...

blue everywhere ...

Hamish did his posing bit ...

and then Mike joined in the act ...

As we walked round I was taking so many photos of all the flowers ...

The rhododendrons were just coming out ...

and there were loads in bud so no doubt we'll be back again soon to see them. There were also a lot of campions in amongst the bluebells so there was that lovely mix of colours ...

We merged with the blue route somewhere along the way but found our way back to the car and headed home.

I'd noticed that the ice-cream van was on Portreath car park so after leaving the car at home we walked back down to the beach and sat watching the surf roll in while eating our ices ...

After a few more shots of the waves ...

we made our way home via the harbour where the boats were being tossed about ...

You lucky devils - I only said to P thid morning about going to do the bluebell walk!

Instead I've got plants and kitchen cupboards coming out of my ears..... Don't ask!
