We'd no sooner emptied things out of the RV and we were filling it up again for Jo and Paul's shakedown weekend at Bodmin. They wanted to try out their caravan on a site not too far away from home but far enough to make it worthwhile and so after perusing the Camping and Caravanning sites book we'd decided on Bodmin. We drove up to the storage site to meet them and then followed behind as we thought that Paul would like to set the pace. The first obstacle was Chiverton Cross roundabout ...
but there were no problems and we were soon motoring on towards our destination ...
When we arrived at the site we were expected as we'd booked in and we were given two pitches together ...
In the evening we all congregated in the caravan as Jo had offered to cook lasagne. She wanted to test out her oven and so we provided the salad, garlic flat bread and dessert. It was absolutely yummy lasagne - well done Jo.
As the sun went down on our first night we all agreed that it was a great idea to come here.
