When we drove to the gardens yesterday we noticed an interesting sign to somewhere called Spinsters Rock. I looked it up on a map and on the internet and we decided to see if we could find it once the rain had disappeared today. This morning we’d been soaked while trying to shop in Okehampton and we didn’t want a repeat!
After parking on the roadside we entered a field by these signs …
Then we saw the rocks ahead of us along with some cows and sheep …
After taking a couple of photos we decided to move on to Castle Drogo and take the dogs for a walk.
The view was amazing and the photos don’t really do it justice. We just made it to the cafe in time for a much needed coffee before they closed and then we returned to the campsite.
