Thursday and Friday was spent in the RV generally being very lazy, reading and taking Hamish for walks around the site. With my camera to hand rather than just my phone I took some more shots of the weir and river …
We watched the wildlife …
and on Friday evening Jamie and Phill arrived with their caravan …
On Saturday morning we all drove to Michael Jordan Caravan Centre as the boys needed some bits and pieces for their van and in the afternoon they went to Crawley for a friend’s daughter’s marriage blessing while we looked after Ozzie for them. The two dogs are very much at home in the RV …
Sunday was supposed to be spent at Badminton but as it was cancelled we invited Simon, Vikki and Sara over to the campsite. We’d booked a table at The Bridge Hotel and the food was wonderful – far too much! We came away with a doggy bag full of beef and chicken!
After eating Jamie and Phill drove back to the caravan shop as they had to change a tap and the rest of us went to see the bridge and river …
When the boys got back Jamie found there was still a problem with the tap and so once again he returned but this time he took Mike with him. While they were gone we took the dogs for a walk to see the lock and weir before walking along the riverside …
Back at the site and some of the new goodies were fixed to their caravan …
All looking very smart now …
On Monday it was time to say goodbye to the boys after watching them pack up …
Late on in the afternoon we had a Dutch coach park up near us and a load of teenagers spilled out of it …
They proceeded to set up camp in the open space next to us!
Considering the number of kids that were camping, I must admit they were very good and quiet. We had more noise coming from the motorhome which arrived on Jamie and Phill’s pitch!!
