Wiltshire to Devon
We were up and away quite promptly this morning as we wanted to get to the Devon campsite about lunch-time. Hamish sat and waited patiently while we did a final check …
and then we were off. After a coffee stop at Cartgate Services and a quick shop plus fuel top-up at Honiton we finally arrived at Lemonford Caravan Park and found our pitch for the next two nights …
The nosey parker was keeping an eye on everyone …
After lunch I rang Wendy (my Australian 7th cousin once removed!) and we arranged to meet in Ashburton. The weather was miserable and damp so we went to the Royal Oak for a drink and a good chin-wag and then she showed us the church where some of her ‘rellies’ are buried …
It was beautiful inside with fantastic stained glass windows …

We returned to the campsite for a couple of hours and then met up again for a meal in the evening at the same pub.
