I don't think we have ever been up so early on a Sunday morning on a campsite! It was a good half hour drive to the church and the Service was due to start at 9.30am. Knowing there was limited parking and having a rather large vehicle we wanted to get there in plenty of time to find a space. The church was full of friends and relatives and little Elyse was so good - not a sound from her at all. We had a group photo taken outside and the star of the day was centre stage ...

Hamish had been left in the RV during the Service but was keen to come out and see what was going on ...

It was then off into Northampton to the Masonic Hall where we had a coffee and mingled with the other guests. A fabulous spread was laid out for us and in the corner of the room was a chocolate fountain!

Hannah, Elyse's mum, had decorated the room with pink balloons and it all looked so pretty.
My friend Jo had made a card for me ...
This is my cousin Sue, with her daughter Hannah and her daughter Elyse - three generations ...
And of course we finished with cake ...
After leaving the celebrations we went back to the campsite. Hamish was on guard duty while we had a cuppa ...
and then we took him for a long walk along the towpath in the opposite direction to last night. He'd been such a good boy all day that he deserved a good run with plenty of interesting smells!
We saw this little family of geese ...
and bridge 65 ...
