Harbour Sights

It's a miserable Monday morning, still blowing but not raining, so I took Hamish for a stroll round the harbour to see if anything was happening worth photographing. Looking across to the Waterfront Inn ...

I climbed the steps to the look-out and there in the sea was a lone surfer ...

Unfortunately he refused to surf for me preferring to just ride out the waves ...

There were a few nice waves crashing into the harbour arm ...


The beach was deserted ...

and Hamish kept looking back down the steps asking if it was time to move on ...


The boats have all been surrounded by fencing this winter as added security ...
